Argon gas filling for glass windows and doors
Argon Gas has twice the density of air, allowing a reduction in heat transfer and is the most common gas used in new glass window units today. It can be introduced into the majority of cavities, the most effective range being 16-20mm. If the cavities in your windows are smaller, then we would recommend opting for Krypton gas rather than Argon. Krypton gas filling for glass windows with narrow cavities
Krypton gas is much denser than Argon and excels in narrow cavities. Particularly those measuring 4mm, 6mm and 8mm. At BHB Glass Systems Ltd, we would not recommend using Krypton gas to fill larger cavities, as no improvement can be found using Krypton on 16mm and 20mm gaps.
